Photo of the Day: Day Twenty-Three

I don’t know how long this train has been sitting out on the tracks between the small Washington town of Lyle and the Columbia River, but I pass it every day on my way home. I always look for the best light with which to capture the contrast of the colorful graffiti and the slowly awakening landscape around it. Today, it being a typically gloomy spring day in the northwest, seemed to work out nicely. Not the greatest, but I snapped it anyway.

Hey, I never promised every day would be stunning examples of photography.
